Ours is a beautiful little church situated on the west side of the city of Syracuse. We have a membership of over 300 and our church holds 200. We offer different styles of worship, as well as quality youth programs, children's and adult education, outreach opportunities, pastoral care, and fellowship activities. If you are seeking a church home large enough to meet your spiritual and social needs, and small enough for us to know your name, visit us in person. We would love to have you as our guest.

Announcements for the week of May 5, 2008

Suggested items for the food pantry: Macaroni and cheese, cereals, peanut butter and jelly, pasta.

We would like to welcome the Reverend Charles Birkby to St. Mark the Episcopal Church.

Next Sunday is Blanket Sunday.  For a $5 donation, a wool-blend blanket can be sent to an area in need globally or within the United States.  The Erregger Mission & Outreach Fund will buy an additional blanket for every 2 that you fund.

The Bishop's Bash will be held on Friday May 9, from 6:30 pm to 11 pm at St. Matthew's Church on 904 Vine St in Liverpool NY.  This event is for youth in grades 6-12 and features a Holy Eucharist and Dance for $6 per person.  This year the youth are asked to wear a color representing their district and for us the color is brown."

Youth Group’s Fourth Annual Talent Show is Saturday, May 10 at 7:00 pm in the undercroft. All are welcome!  Refreshments provided. Please bring a canned good with you for our food pantry.

Next Sunday is Pentecost Sunday.  Dana Marzynski is once again coordinating lines from the gospel being read in different languages.  If you can read another language and are willing to stand in place and read one line, please let Dana know today.  She already has volunteers for Italian and Spanish, and has the readings in French, German and Arabic (and can get others if necessary.)

Promotion Sunday and UTO Spring Ingathering will be on May 18.
